1- Open WhatsApp first. >> Now go to the 'Chats' section, long tap
on the chat here which you have to hide.
2- Now select 'Archive icon' from the top bar.
3- This will make your chat archive (Archive) and you will not see it on
the chat screen.

smartphones are at the bottom of the Chat Screen.
